Image SourceChris Weitz has officially been chosen to direct New Moon, the sequel to Twilight. Chris has directed The Golden Compass and About a Boy, although he has produced several movies including Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and all the American Pie movies.
I think it's an interesting choice. I'm not really sure how I feel about it, but I felt good about Catherine Hardwicke doing Twilight and that didn't quite work out how I would have preferred, so we'll see.
