I don't know why, but something about this video almost makes me cry.
Here's what I think:
There are definitely all kinds of ways to divide ourselves. Republican/Democrat, Christian/Not Christian, Pro-Life/Pro-Choice, Black/White, Rich/Poor, the list goes on and on. But in this country, what will never divide us is our right to vote. We ALL have the right and, in my opinion, the obligation. There are people all over the world who are suffering in their home country and who would give anything for the right to voice their opinion through voting. And then there are people in this country who throw away that right as though it were nothing - as though the right was not fought for by many in the past.
It doesn't matter to me who you would vote for. You can vehemently disagree with me and I would still wholeheartedly encourage you to vote because your voice has a right to be heard. Your opinion matters. And if you don't know anything about the candidates, get educated. Because if you don't, your apathy says more about you than your political opinion ever would.
Vote. It matters.
