ok..you are the person i need to talk to about this... since i am a military man's "significant other" right now, i figured i would really love the show Army Wives, even though mine is a Marine.. but i've only watched it a couple times and it made me upset extremely depressed and i have realized that i hate it....even the pre-views for the show... is that weird? did i maybe just catch some bad episodes and should i give it another try? because everyone keeps telling me that i need to watch it.. let me know what you think.. thanks and i miss you! :)
no i don't think that's weird. i really like the show, but i'm not an army wife so it's different for me. i have another friend who is engaged to a guy in the army and she can't watch it either. it just upset her. so i really think it's probably more for people who aren't military wives just so that they can sort-of understand what it's like. i think it's really good and they do a really good job being respectful and tender and serious about the whole thing, but it also would probably really upset me if i was an army wife.
so i understand if you don't want to give it another shot. maybe something more upbeat for you...haha
What would I do without you? I've been craving Big Love all summer long! I can't wait for fall TV, thank goodness we have the new Twilight book in Aug. to tie us over!
