Or any day next week!!

I am SO excited about you starting a blog! I would read it and I think most of the people that read my blog would read yours, too because you're pretty much awesome and would just have the best blog! Yours would be way better than mine!!

Big Shark!!

My friend Zach was in Okeechobee, FL last week for Spring Break and he caught a 9 foot shark!!

Look how crazy this is:

That's Zach on the right and his dad on the left and the big huge shark in the middle, I named him Lionel.

He also caught a Mahi Mahi dolphin, 22 bass fish and a turkey!!

(Forgive me for how insanely dorky that just sounded. But I'm serious!)

Easter

I'm not sure what Easter means to you. But to me it is more than Easter baskets and candy. I found this video. This is one of my favorite songs, but I'm not sure it goes with the video. Whether you believe what I do or not, I wish you a Happy Easter and I hope you find peace in your life.

The resurrection gives my life meaning and direction and the opportunity to start over no matter what my circumstances.
~Robert Flatt

The joyful news that He is risen does not change the contemporary world. Still before us lie work, discipline, sacrifice. But the fact of Easter gives us the spiritual power to do the work, accept the discipline, and make the sacrifice.
~Henry Knox Sherrill

Let every man and woman count himself immortal. Let him catch the revelation of Jesus in his resurrection. Let him say not merely, "Christ is risen," but "I shall rise."
~Phillips Brooks

CHOCOLATE!!!!!

It's been 46 days.

And at 12:01AM about 10 minutes ago, Lewis and I ate CHOCOLATE for the first time in 46 days!!!!

YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I ate:

They're Cadbury Mini Eggs and they're my favorite Easter candy!

Yay!!!!

The Namesake - Part 2

The Namesake was wonderful. Beautiful. Emotional.

Kal Penn has been in everything from Van Wilder to Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle to 24 and now The Namesake. Along with Ryan Reynolds, he has now become one of my favorites because he can easily go from comedy to drama to action and excel at each genre.

This movie is definitely worth seeing.

Pretty People from 300

I watched 300 again last night. I just can't get over that movie. Here are my favorite pictures from the movie and some pictures of the people in the movie.

Gerard Butler
You know him from Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life or The Phantom of the Opera

Next up in P.S., I Love You
(with Hilary Swank, Lisa Kudrow, James Marsters, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Harry Connick, Jr. and Kathy Bates!!)

Lena Headey
You know her from Imagine Me & You or Gossip

Next up in a bunch of foreign movies that I don't recognize anyone from

Rodrigo Santoro
You know him from Lost, Love Actually and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle

Next up in Dare to Love Me
(with Paz Vega - the girl from Spanglish, and Shakira)

You know him from The Lord of the Rings and Van Helsing.

Next up in Married Life
(with Pierce Brosnan and Rachel McAdams)

(from left - Gerard Butler, Lena Headey and Rodrigo Santoro)

(from left - Rodrigo Santoro, Zack Snyder [director], Frank Miller [author of 300 graphic novel], Gerard Butler, Lena Headey and David Wenham)

The People's Princess

I saw The Queen yesterday. I thought it was incredible. It was beautiful. It was moving. Princess Diana was a little before my time. I mean, I was in middle school when she died and she had just never been that big of a deal to me. I knew who she was, but it was my mom who loved her. When she died, I remember my mom taping everything about her funeral and all the stuff that was on tv, and I remember being sad, but it just wasn't a remarkable moment in my life.

After seeing The Queen, I was humbled by the work of Diana's life. And I was moved by the response to her death. To have a reaction like that to your death, you must have had such a huge impact on everyone you were around. She was amazing.

(I'm not crazy about the song for this one, but what can you do??)

The Namesake

I'm going to see this movie today.

I'll let you know how it is. But I think it's going to be awesome.

Subsidized Story Time / Favorite Friend Quote of the Day

I work in a condominium building that is really old. Either the heat is on in the entire building or the air conditioning is on in the entire building. Due to the temperatures raising the last couple of weeks, we had turned the air conditioning on. The temperatures are going back down for the next few days and this old lady that lives upstairs just came in and got mad at us.

Old lady: "It's is freezing upstairs!! You all need to turn the heat back on or I'm going to catch a cold!!"
(FYI: The maintenance guy goes up into her apartment and the room temperature is 75 degrees. She is not "warm" until it is at least 80. Wow. Also, you can't get the full effect of this story until you hear and see the woman. Lewis will have to act it out for you one day.)

*After she leaves*

"You know, you can't catch a cold from being cold. You actually have to inhale the illness."

Favorite Friend Quote of the Day!

"I totally would've given that [chocolate Luna bar] to you. I am the destroyer of your stuff."
-Emily Johnson

GRRRRRRR

I am just having one heck of a day at work.

Does anyone have any funny stories or anecdotes to cheer me up? Because seriously I'm about to start pulling my hair out and sucking my thumb.

I need to go home.
