I've been wondering when this guy would get cast in a Harry Potter movie! It totally makes sense to me! You would know him from Underworld or as Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean. if you watch those. I think he's great! It hasn't been released yet what part he will be playing, but according to The Leaky Cauldron, he will be playing Rufus Scrimgeour - the Minister of Magic that succeeds Cornelius Fudge.

I've loved Bill in everything I've seen him in, including the British State of Play (miniseries). I was hoping they'd stick to the Rufus description in the book (the hairy one). But I can't complain about the casting choice overall.
