Smart People

This preview was on before Definitely, Maybe. I really want to see it!

James McAvoy

I saw James McAvoy in The Last King of Scotland and of course thought he was amazing. Everyone in that movie did such a great job. But I thought he was kind-of awkward looking and when I saw that he was in Becoming Jane and Atonement, I must be honest that I was a little nervous about going to see them because I didn't think he could carry a romantic part.

I was wrong.

He was so good in Becoming Jane that now I am much more interested in his other movies like that!! Let's see what other movies he's been in that I think most people would know:

Wimbledon (2004)

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)

The Last King of Scotland (2006)

Penelope (2006)

Becoming Jane (2007)

Atonement (2007)

Upcoming:

Wanted (2008)

Movie Day

I watched 2 movies today!!

Becoming Jane
I watched this at home by myself and cried a lot. I'm not sure exactly what struck me as so moving, but I thought it was wonderful. And I now have a much better appreciation of James McAvoy. We'll talk about that later.

Definitely, Maybe
Hannah & I went to see this tonight. Ryan Reynolds & Abigail Breslin were fabulous. I love them. And Isla Fisher was just so cute!!! I really liked the movie! I liked the idea, I liked the whole thing. I recommend it.

PostSecret - Valentines Edition

Someone commented on this one:
"Can I have her address?
I will send her flowers. dozens.
real ones, and paper ones, and pictures of ones."

That made me cry.

Here's why I love PostSecret:
I love people. I love their hope, their pain, their strengths and weaknesses, their love and joy, their despair and sorrow. I think that the stronger the depth of emotion, the more vulnerable and open someone has allowed themselves to be to the world. I think there is no great love without great loss, or at least the possibility of it. I think there is no great achievement without a certain amount of failure. I think our turbulent past opens the door to a future that is bright and open because we have learned the lowest we can go and we've decided to keep moving forward. I think every loss is an opportunity to appreciate and grow. I think every joy is a blessing that you can carry with you through those moments when life is not a joy. I think we beat each other down for all kinds of different reasons and I think the world would be a better place if we weren't afraid to admit that we all are beautiful and funny and sad and lonely and capable and misunderstood and stronger than we think and more blessed than we know.

And I think PostSecret shows the depths of joy and sorrow for everyone. And I think it's a beautiful thing.

I'm all about it right now...

Bite me.

Behind the Scenes

This is hot.

Briana & Robert

Briana Evigan was the girl in Linkin Park's "Numb" video. Check it out on YouTube.

Robert Hoffman has been a dancer in a lot of movies! Check it out on IMDB.

Step Up 2: The Streets

This movie was fantastic. What is lacks in plot, it makes up for in dancing.

I have seen a LOT of dance movies. This one has my favorite dancing EVER.

And I love Briana Evigan & Robert Hoffman. Let's talk about them next...

Darn it, I forgot another guy I like on American Idol's Top 24!!

Amazon Wish List

Dear Friends,

When an event comes up such as birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, random Tuesdays that Cameron feels like being nice to people she cares about, it really helps sometimes if I have an idea of what you would like that you don't have.

Now, granted, I pride myself on really making an effort to secretly discover these things, but still it's always fun to see wish lists and things like this. I have used my moms several times already to buy her gifts!

So, here is my one request, please make an Amazon.com wish list. I think they are fabulous. I have one myself. And Amazon is amazing because every once in a while things go on sale for the best prices!! (i.e. right now The OC Season 4 is on sale for $16.99 which makes me very upset because I have wanted to buy that forever but didn't because it is shorter than the other seasons and still costs $45!! And I gave up buying things I don't really need for Lent, so hopefully it will still be on sale for that price after Easter!)

Either way, I would LOVE to see your Amazon.com wish lists and possibly buy random fun gifts when I can!

And P.S. I am posting this because there are a couple of you that I was just trying to discover things I could buy you just for fun because I have the most wonderful friends and I like to do nice things for them. But lo and behold, I found things I think you would like, but then was afraid you already had them!!

It's a vicious cycle. Amazon! Go now!!

Love,

Cameron

Real Facts from Snapple

Megan rocks for showing me this!! (Click on "Real Facts")

Slugs have 4 noses.
Camels have 3 eyelids.
Mosquitoes are attracted to people who just ate bananas.
Flamingos are pink because they eat shrimp.
A hummingbird weighs less than a penny.
Children grow faster in the spring.
Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying.
Termites eat through wood two times faster when listening to rock music.
Fish cough.
The bullfrog is the only animal that never sleeps.
Elephants are the only mammals that can't jump.

Okay, I got to the point where I was reading them faster than I was able to remember to blog them. I just got so excited!!

Go read them now!!

The Project

(Picture from Travis' blog)

Travis has come up with an excellent idea for helping people find what they need! He's set up something called "The Project" on his blog. Click the link on his main page to get there. You just post what you have that you don't need and then post if you ever need anything and hopefully someone will be able to help you! Everything is free. It's all in the idea of the Acts church, "And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need." (Acts 4:32)

If you're interested, check it out! I think it's a great thing!

SMG for Vaseline

Stupid Hoochie Nanny

I am so not okay with so much of what is going on in One Tree Hill right now.

Slutty Nanny
Lucas' decision making
Kevin Federline
etc., etc., etc.

I mean, I love the show and it's fabulous and I will definitely not stop watching it now because I am so sucked in!!!

But it stresses me out.

Normal Celebrities

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Go to JustJared to see more pictures of "normal" celebrities.

Better Link

By the way, my mom wanted me to recognize her as the source of my last blog. She loves the tv shows almost as much as I do, so she's been keeping me updated!!

And she just sent me a better link. This one is much more detailed!! And updated hourly!!!

Yay!!!
