Sherlock Holmes Posters

These are hot! I'm excited!

Trailer: Fame

Did you see the original version of this? I did. I'm all about dancing/performing arts movies. I love it!! I'll definitely see this, too.

Trailer: Love Happens

Starring Jennifer Aniston & Aaron Eckhart, you can pretty much just bet on the fact that I'm going to see this. I see everything with Jennifer Aniston. I love her!!

Happy Birthday Josh!!!

Mission Impossible 4 coming in 2011

It has been reported by a few reports now that Paramount has started development of Mission: Impossible 4. J.J. Abrams & Tom Cruise have not yet confirmed their involvement, but I guess we'll see. I am actually not that excited about this. While I did think MI3 was pretty awesome, I just think 4 installments in this series is pushing it. Maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?

Annoying YouTube on my blog

It annoys me how my YouTube videos cut stuff off in the right column on my blog. I could manually change the width and height each time, but I don't always take the time to do that. haha

Iran Election

I'm not sure how much you have been reading about or following the Iran Election. I haven't read about it as much as many people, I'm sure, and I don't claim to know everything about the situation, but I know enough to know that it is important that we show support for the Iranian people. My friend Peter posted about this and you can also follow the tweets on Twitter. I've added a gadget in the right column of my blog as well.

Speaking of One Tree Hill, check out One Tree Hill on Twitter!

New One Tree Hill cast

Robert Buckley has been cast in Season 7 of One Tree Hill. He's supposed to be making up part of the loss of Lucas & Peyton. He'll be playing Nathan's agent.

Supposedly Shantel VanSanten has been cast as Quinn, one of Haley's older sisters.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new characters. Really, it's not them. It's that I'm nervous about the fact that they're doing a 7th season in general. Of course I'll watch it no matter what. I won't even pretend that I'm not going to watch it. haha

Look of the Day

I don't usually do this, but I saw this picture and I thought she looked so stunning that I had to share!

So Britney Spears' sons are pretty cute dancing to Toxic...

But this boy is my absolute favorite!!!

The Uniform Project

Day 1

OMG she's so cute!!!! My friend Peter sent this link to me! I love it!! She is wearing the same dress everyday for a year (she actually has 7 different identical dresses) to demonstrate sustainable fashion. She can wear the dress forwards or backwards and she is accessorizing it differently each day with different items. Most of them are hand-made or vintage. I think she is absolutely adorable and I love this idea!!!! It'll give you lots of ideas for ways to dress up a wardrobe you already have without getting anything new! Check it out!!

Buffy Movie

I have purposefully not blogged about this yet, but I can't wait anymore.

I think it is flat out stupid & ridiculous that they would do a Buffy movie without Joss or any of the original people from the show (or even the first movie). Even Joss was involved as a writer on the original movie!!

I'm annoyed. I'm boycotting it.

10 Weeks

Hello world, meet my baby! 10 weeks in this picture! This is actually a picture I took with my iPhone of the actual ultrasound picture, so that's why it's even grittier looking than a normal ultrasound picture is. Oh well, you get the gist! There's a baby in there!! And they said everything looks great!! Yay!!

Mat Kearney: Closer to Love

I actually really like this song right now. It resonates with me for some reason. I think it's funny how certain songs take you by surprise. Like there's nothing particularly special about them to knock your socks off, but there's like one line that just hits you. For me it's when he says, "I guess we're all one phone call from our knees." I think that's so true.

(Watch the video here. I can't embed it.)

She got the call today
One out of the gray
And when the smoke cleared
It took her breath away
She said she didn't believe
It could happen to me
I guess we're all one phone call
from our knees
We're gonna get there soon

If every building falls
And all the stars fade
We'll still be singing this song
The one they can't take away
I'm gonna get there soon
She's gonna be there too
Cryin' in her room
Prayin' Lord come through
We're gonna get there soon

Oh it's your light
Oh it's your way
Pull me out of the dark
Just to show me the way
Cryin out now
From so far away
You pull me closer to love
Closer to love

Meet me once again
Down off Lake Michigan
Where we could feel the storm blowin
Down with the wind
And don't apologize
For all the tears you've cried
You've been way too strong now for all your life

I'm gonna get there soon
You're gonna be there too
Cryin' in your room
Prayin' Lord come through
We're gonna get there soon

Oh it's your light
Oh it's your way
Pull me out of the dark
Just to show me the way
Cryin out now
From so far away
You pull me closer to love
Closer to love

Cause you are all that I've waited for
All of my life
(We're gonna get there)
You are all that I've waited for
All of my life

You pull me closer to love hu huuh
Closer to love hu huuuh
Pull me closer to love
You pull me closer to love
Closer to love oh no
Closer to love
Closer to love

Pull me closer to love

Brooke posted this on her blog. It's hilarious!

Attention Lexingtonians: Apartment for Rent!

If you live near Lexington and are interested, my friend Emily has an apartment for rent close to UK's campus! It's recently renovated, in a secure building with a pool. It's 1-bedroom with an open floor plan. Rent is $600 per month and the only utility is KU. It runs less than $30 per month. Some months it's like half that. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you in touch with her! You can also check out her blog and comment to her there, too.

New Movie & TV Casting

Freddie Prinze Jr will be joining the cast of 24 next season. I try to support their family because, you know, she was Buffy. So maybe I'll start watching next season again.

Kevin Smith has a new movie in the works called A Couple of Dicks. It already had Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan signed on and now they've got Adam Brody & Seann William Scott. For me, Kevin Smith & Adam Brody are my biggest draws with this one.

Zac Efron will appear in the new season of Entourage.

Mary-Kate Olsen has been cast in Beastly, a modern day take on Beauty & The Beast set in New York. She's joining Vanessa Hudgens who was already cast as the lead role.

New Moon

Hopefully you all saw the New Moon trailer during the MTV Movie Awards. It definitely looks better than the first one, but I'm still nervous. I think I always will be with those movies because I just love the books so much that I know the movies will never measure up no matter how good they are. Oh well. Here's the trailer in case you haven't seen it yet:

I've also seen pictures from the new movie and pictures of Dakota Fanning as Jane. I'm not super crazy about that choice, but we'll see. I just didn't picture any of the Volturi that young. I pictured them in their early 20's. Maybe that's because I'm in my early 20's. How did you picture them??
