I found a bunch of my old cards from people in high school. I used to have them taped to my mirror to remind myself of the people that care about me. I found one card in there that I had bought to give to someone else, but I have never given it to them. This is what it says:

So this one is from within the corporate office, not tenants of our properties. I'm talking about educated, intelligent people, evidently having major brain farts!

Coworker (I promised I wouldn't use her name): We should go on a vacation! I'm ready for a vacation! Where should we go?

Me: We should go to Rome!

Coworker (Thinks for a minute): Okay! You can go to Rome and I'll go to Italy!!

Me: Um...Rome is in Italy!

Coworker: Oh! Haha! I temporarily forgot!

Me: That's okay, I used to think Greece was it's own country!!

Bang Head Here

A class I really needed to take this summer in order to fulfill a prerequisite for something I have to take in the fall got canceled. I had already bought my book and started working on where I would do my observation. But now it is canceled and if things go really badly, this could set me back an entire year, which along with being a year behind, I don't want to take out more loans to pay for another full year of school. Those of you whose parents are paying for your school, count your blessings. Because it's only downhill from there!

I hope this doesn't set me back a whole year.

Lost - 48 episodes left!

The executive producers for Lost, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, were interviewed by Entertainment Weekly recently. They announced that there are 3 seasons of Lost left. Each will have 16 episodes, meaning there are 48 episodes of Lost left!

Grey's, Addison, Shonda, etc.

So you know I hated the new Addison crap in last Thursday's Grey's Anatomy episode. But I love Shonda Rhimes and I love the Grey's Anatomy blog. I love love love how the writers post a blog each week to kinda talk you through some of their thought processes. It makes the whole show better. And what I love even MORE about this week's blog is that she mentions Buffy and that right there is just freakin' awesome!

(Although I still will not be watching Addison's new show.)

Summer School

I did really good in school this semester which is crazy to me because I was taking 15 hours and also working full time. That's definitely not to toot my own horn or anything, if you understood how much I did NOT apply myself when I was in school before, you would understand how excited I am about getting good grades!!!

But now I'm starting summer school. I'm taking 4 classes.
It's going to be insane. Plus we are painting and moving into our house over the next few weeks.

Augh!!!!

The Lovely Bones is coming to theaters!

If you haven't read the book The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, you really should. It's very good! But interesting news I just learned about...Peter Jackson (director of the Lord of the Rings movies and King Kong) just got the rights to make the book into a movie. That book is not along the same lines of his former movies, so I am very interested to see how this works out!!

Here Comes the Queen!!!

The Queen is about to land at BlueGrass Airport!! She is going to be staying in Versailles tonight at a former ambassador's farm! She is going to the Derby tomorrow!! This is the first time in 16 years that she has come to the United States and she is coming to Kentucky!!! Yay!!!!

Grey's Tonight

Yeah so I pretty much hated the Addison parts of tonight's episode. After about 15 minutes of it, we just fast-forwarded through her parts when they came on. I don't care a thing about those people or about her if she's going to leave Grey's. I am boycotting her stupid new show and I encourage you to do the same. You just can't go anywhere but down from Grey's Anatomy. The idea of her leaving to do a new show is absurd to me and honestly it pisses me off a little bit...or a lot.

So, boycott Private Practice!! (her new show)
