Ephraim clothing
I have been listening to the xxxchurch.com podcast this week and they were talking about Ephraim clothing the other day. I got on the website and I am a big fan! They are a Christian company, but their t-shirts are not the cheesy "Jesus" instead of "Reeses" and that kind of stuff. They're actually really awesome and I'm going to buy one or two to support what they are doing! You should check them out!!
(The shirt up there is the one I want first!!)

Govit
Govit is a nonpartison site which allows you to vote on the different bills, track your vote and see how it compares to legislators in your area.
It's really interesting, especially if you don't know where you stand or where your legislators stand! Check it out and let me know what you think! My username is ingenueperspective if you want to see how I vote! I haven't voted too much yet, but I will!!

Lesley
I lost a friend this weekend. And although I feel a strong desire to become reclusive and keep to myself, I also feel a stronger desire to honor the memory of a friend.
I wrote her a letter.

Gas prices going down...
I love this. Click here to read more.
I hope that just because gas prices are going back down that American's aren't even more wasteful again.

News about the News - and some blog changes
Susan made me watch this video from TED.com a while ago and after watching it again and giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to change some stuff on my blog. First, watch the video - it's only 4 minutes. You can do 4 minutes.
So I've deleted all the links to celebrity websites on my site except for 2: Just Jared because he isn't mean and Gravy & Biscuits because I know Jessica and I like Jessica and I'm going to keep her link on my page. But everything else is gone. And I'm going to make an effort to keep my topics on things that interest me and things that matter. I'm trying to make a change in a lot of ways in my life and not just about this. But this is a good way to start!!

300 sequel/prequel coming in 2010!
It has been officially announced that there will be another 300 movie! It will be written by Frank Miller, being based off of his graphic novels, and it will be directed again by Zach Snyder!
It has not been announced yet whether it will be a prequel or a sequel. I'm personally hoping for a prequel so that we can see more from all our favorite Spartans!!
OTH Season 6
So I posted pictures previously of who Lucas called in the finale of Season 5, but according to the following video...it doesn't really matter what we saw...

Stephenie Meyer - future Twilight books?
A lot of people have been talking about this and I wanted to just put what I found on Stephenie Meyer's website and a couple of other places so that you can all rest easy...
Although Bella will not narrate the story anymore, Stephenie Meyer is still open to continuing with the characters from Forks that she has created.
And don't forget about Midnight Sun which is Twilight from Edward's perspective. It will be released Summer 2009.
From StephenieMeyer.com FAQ:
Will Bella and Edward's story be a trilogy, or a longer series?
I have no intention of quitting at three. Firstly, Bella and Edward would never forgive me. Secondly, the next two books would have to be 1000+ pages apiece to get the story to any place that felt like a true resolution. Thirdly, there are other stories to tell here, and, though the narrator might change, the story will continue. I just have way to much fun living in Forks (in my head) to stop anytime soon. From an MTV interview with Stephenie Meyer:
MTV: Is it going to be hard to walk away from "Twilight"?
Meyer: I don't feel like I have yet. I'm still working with the Edward book, which keeps me in it. I know for absolute sure that this is the last time Bella's going to tell the story, but I don't know if I'll be able to leave all the characters behind. There are so many stories there. While I plan to do some other things first, I may come back to it.
From Twilight Lexicon:
"Is this truly the final book?" asked Good Things Utah host, Nicea DeGering.
To which Meyer answered, "It is the final book from Bella’s perspective."
Who would YOU most like her to write the next book about?

Breaking Dawn - final thoughts?
I just finished Breaking Dawn. I don't want to give anything away for those of you who haven't finished it yet, but I do have a couple of things to say (no spoilers).
1. I loved the beginning of it.
2. I hated about 200 pages of it.
3. Once you reach a certain point (around pg 360), it gets really good.
4. I loved the entire rest of the book.
It's awesome, probably my favorite one, but I haven't fully committed to that decision yet. I'm still very partial to the first one.
If you have not yet read the Twilight series, please pick up the first one ASAP! They're absolutely wonderful!!
For those of you who have finished it - what did you think? I don't mind spoilers in the comments.

Broadway Dance Center
So I stayed in New York with a friend of mine who rocks my face off. She's going to be bigtime on Broadway one day. And she dances with some of the people from Step Up 2 - which you all know I am ALL about. She dances at the Broadway Dance Center in New York. Watch the video below. It's one of the classes from there - she's in the front in the middle.
