Well, I thought it was great!! I'm really starting to like Timothy Olyphant. He was in Live Free or Die Hard, Catch and Release, The Girl Next Door and Rockstar. In this movie, I thought he was kinda perfect. But I've watched my husband play the game. There were some people leaving the theater who I overheard saying that they didn't like it. But they also obviously hadn't played the game. So I'm thinking it's kinda like Silent Hill, which was awesome if you've played the games, and not so great if you hadn't.
Overall, I think it was fun and well worth it.
But August Rush was infinitely better. See that, too!!

So I'm LOVING the tagging thing!! People have been posting their 7 things and I love it!! I've cracked up a lot and also found out that I have some things in common with people that I didn't know about!!
Check out these posts where my friends were tagged:
"I mean, they only tip God 10% so how can we expect any more?" -Guy in class who will remain nameless for my blog (He works in a restaurant)
Let's talk about this for a second! My mind was racing with thoughts.
1. People know what's up. I don't know if this guy is a Christian or not. All I know is that he works in a restaurant and the "church people" are the worst to serve. People know that's not how it should be. They KNOW. We aren't fooling anybody. Time to step up.
2. Get your stinking act together! When will we ever get it right?? The "Christian life" is hard. I understand that. I understand that living in a world that pushes so hard for something different is difficult. But come on, how hard is it to patiently sit through your lunch and at the very least act like Jesus would to your server? I've always heard that the church crowd is the worst for servers. Goodness gracious people!
3. They're watching. People are watching. They notice. They look. Granted usually the big mistakes outweigh the simple acts of kindness in the world in terms of what is publicized and remembered, but still. That's no reason to stop performing the simple acts of kindness. Just look at things differently. If we are supposed to be Christ to people, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could start at the dinner table, whether that's with our family at home or in public at a restaurant?
It's really simple. But it's annoying to me that other people know how absurd it is that we would "only tip God 10%."
All kinds of questions and comments were raised. It's crazy. I had to agree with him & others in class. I do get sick of "church people."
Where are the "little Christs" which is what we are supposed to be? Where are they hiding? Come out, come out wherever you are!!!
So incredibly cheesy and doesn't completely apply, but I heard this on the radio and she was who I thought of.
Dear Emily, Enjoy this next phase of your life. Don't let anyone steal the beauty of it. You're stronger than you know. I love you and I'll be here if you need me. Love, Cameron
18 years have come and gone For momma they flew by But for me they drug on and on We were loading up that Chevy Both tryin' not to cry Momma kept on talking Putting off good-bye Then she took my hand and said 'Baby don't forget
Before you hit the highway You better stop for gas There's a 50 in the ashtray In case you run short on cash Here's a map and here's a Bible If you ever lose your way
Just one more thing before you leave Don't forget to remember me'
This downtown apartment sure makes me miss home And those bills there on the counter Keep telling me I'm on my own And just like every Sunday I called momma up last night And even when it's not, I tell her everything's alright Before we hung up I said 'Hey momma, don't forget
To tell my baby sister I'll see her in the fall And tell mee-ma that I miss her Yeah, I should give her a call And make sure you tell Daddy that I'm still his little girl Yeah, I still feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be Don't forget to remember me'
Tonight I find myself kneeling by the bed to pray I haven't done this in a while So I don't know what to say but 'Lord I feel so small sometimes in this big ol' place Yeah, I know there are more important things, But don't forget to remember me But don't forget to remember me'
Click here for an interview with Damon Lindelof about Season 4 of Lost.
I think you will be just as disappointed as I am.
Darn the Producers Guild! Give the Writers Guild what they want!!
(Here's the gist...Season 4 will consist of only 8 episodes, beginning February. It will end with a huge cliffhanger. We will then have to wait another year and 2 months for Season 5. The only upside is that Season 5 may be a full 24 episodes.)
102 production members from The Office have been fired. Steve Carrell has refused to cross the picket line. After this coming week, no new Office episodes.
Lost will go on in January, but possibly only for 8 episodes.
So Emily talked me into going shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving this year - also known as Black Friday.
I said okay, but...I need to do some recon & be completely prepared. And also - she needs to be prepared for ME because I will knock a soccer mom out if she messes with me that morning because I will NOT be in the mood! haha!
So I found some sites that are all about giving you information on the Black Friday sales! Check them out!!
