Judd Apatow's Funny People

Image from SlashFilm

FirstShowing.net posted information on Judd Apatow's new movie Funny People. It will star Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen and is about a stand-up comedian played by Sandler. I will see it just because I think Judd Apatow's movies are hilarious and I have a really strange sense of humor, so it's sort-of an accomplishment that every one I have seen I have liked!

Check out FirstShowing and SlashFilm for more information on the movie!

Tom Lenk comes out!

Tom Lenk official came out in this month's Advocate magazine.

Let's watch a video of Andrew just for fun! Lenk played Andrew in Buffy. Andrew was probably my favorite Buffy character which is funny because he wasn't really a main character!

Trailer: Sunshine Cleaning

Sunshine Cleaning

Starring: Amy Adams, Emily Blunt

I love both of them, so I'll see it even if I don't think it looks super great. It has potential.

What do you think?

Thriller 25th Anniversary Video

Sophia Bush & James Lafferty!!

I usually try not to post celebrity news anymore, but as an avid One Tree Hill fan, I must say that I am very happy with this pairing!!

Chad Michael Murray let it slip last week that Sophia Bush & James Lafferty are dating! Very cute! But not so smooth of Chad.

Eat This, Not That for Kids

Many of you have probably heard of the book Eat This, Not That. I have not read it, but I do want to!! Now they have the version for parents that talks to them about what they should and shouldn't feed their kids! It's just encouraging parents about healthier alternatives for children.

WebMD posted a review of sorts of the book here!
You can also buy it on Amazon!
And check out the original Eat This, Not That on Amazon as well!

Facebook should charge people??

In our current economy, everyone is trying to come up with a way to save money. How much would it suck if Facebook took this advice (read the article) and started charging people??

I would not be supportive.

Christopher Nolan LA Time Interview

If you're like me, you get very interested in the people behind these big movies that we all know and love. From Peter Jackson with Lord of the Rings, James Cameron with Titanic, Steven Spielberg with...everything, Cameron Crowe with Almost Famous, and Baz Luhrman with Romeo & Juliet or Moulin Rouge, I just love to find out more about the background thoughts and ideas of these people who show such creativity and expertise in making these incredible movies.

This 3-part LA Times interview just really takes us deeper into the thought process of Christopher Nolan while making The Dark Knight. They discuss Heath Ledger, Nolan's favorite scene, and the possibility of the 3rd installment in the series. I definitely think it's a must-read for anyone who loved The Dark Knight.

Angels & Demons Teaser Trailer

Angels & Demons

Starring: Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgard
Directed by: Ron Howard

I think this book was even better than The Da Vinci Code, but it's not quite so controversial.
(It's still controversial, just not so much.)

Anyway, I'm very excited about the movie! What do you think about it so far?

NaBloPoMo

Yay!

Arctic Ice & Human Causes

Pretty much, the arctic ice is melting quickly according to new studies and according to other new studies, it can be directly related to human actions.

I'm not going to go into detail. Read for yourself and decide how important it is to you to get educated about how your actions affect our planet.

Buffy (of course - she's #1 by the way)

Eowyn in Lord of the Rings

Trinity in The Matrix

Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill

High School Musical 3

Time Magazine wrote an article about How High School Musical Conquered the World. I must say, the movies are fabulous, if only because in a world full of junk on tv and in movies, they are squeeky-clean in the best possible way!

I very highly encourage you to see them!!

Cow Burps?

More about cow farts & cow burps. They produce more methane gas than your car. You may be thinking, "why is this an issue?" It's an issue because we have turned meat production and the raising of cattle into and industrialized activity. Our meat consumption in the United States alone is off the charts. It's disgusting. I'm not saying to stop eating meat. I'm just saying that we eat much more than is recommended. The average person only needs about 18 ounces per week.

I've posted this video before, but please check it out! Mark Bittman talks about What's Wrong With What We Eat.

Christina Aguilera: Keeps Gettin' Better

What do you think of the new Christina Aguilera video?

I must say, I really like her. She's talented and she's not crazy. She just is who she is.

Twilight International Trailer

Who else is super excited that they made a Twilight movie??

But not so excited about who they picked to be in it...

Trick-or-Treating

We didn't get many trick-or-treaters last night. Maybe 6 or so. It was crazy. Trick-or-treating used to be HUGE in my neighborhood growing up!! What has happened?

After this happened in South Carolina last night, there probably won't be many next year either!
